A&P Any thoughts on these pics? Good or bad...

    I'm pretty new to digital photography but thought I'd get some opinions on a few of my pics :noes: All were taken with a Canon A60.

    your first one is great, lovely composition.

    the others are somewhat meh :o maybe if you crop them, itll be alright

    The first one would look better in color I think, and if the highlights in the water wasn't overexposed. The others just look like snapshots :dunno:

    i agree with jayhawk, the first image needs to be in color. on the second pic make the moon bigger and dim the snowman and lights. on the third pic, level out the riverline. on the last pic you don't want to convey warmth with a snowy picture, so open it with photoshop and set your hue/saturation to something like Hue:+19 Saturation:-54 Lightness:-5 if you want to keep it close to what you have originally. I'm not being mean or anything just trying to help you out bro.

    The first one definitely would look better in color. if you wanted to keep it in B&W, it needs to be sharper. #2 looks nice but is kinda blah. #3 would look better if you had more bridge and less snowy land (too much dead space without a true focus) #4 is extremely blah
