I need a truck, not for anything heavy or major, and really like the Titans. I am specifically looking at the 2007 SE Crew Cab that I can get for $25,000. Any experience with these or comments?

I know that the earlier models had brake and rear diff problems, but from what I understand this is fixed in '07/'08. Any input is appreciated

The 2008 model gets bigger brakes. The 2007 is the same as the old shitty ones.

ALL Titans, including 2008 have the same shitty rear-end. In 2005 they added an aluminum rear-diff cover but people are still having problems.

Go to www.titantalk.com for more info.

Most people seem to love their Titans. However, people that have problems with their Titans seem to have LOTS of BAD problems.

I've always thought the Titan was a pretty cool truck, and they're a hell of a deal.

The new F150's are being unloaded with good deals lately. I'm going to pick up an FX4 this weekend.

fx4 is a ripoff unless you must have the center console without leather. Getting an XLT and bilstein shocks is cheaper, and will out-perform offroad.

get the 07. 5000 rebate and dealer will take another 3xxx off that. now the 08s have 3500 rebate. i bought the 07 and love it. so much cabin space. i dont plan on keeping longer than a couple of years so i beat the shit out of it and this truck is solid

It is one of the least expensive... But I don't think it's a "best buy".

Whenever I see them advertised they come with the V8 for about 22k, maybe the Ram is cheaper, but then you're getting a Dodge.
