Hey guys and gals, just wondering if there were any thirdgen F-Body owners in here? I have a 1991 Trans Am GTA with the L98 rebuilt for boost. Induction with the 91-92 Firehawk T-RAM, and a BBS Designs single turbo kit. Should be finished in a few weeks.

My wife is a former owner of 2 3rd gens, an '86 Z28 that had a built 383 and 700 R4, and a '91 with the 305 TPI motor and a 5-speed. Both great cars.

Now, she's driving a '98 Z28 6-speed 'vert. When we were first shopping for cars for her, she was kind of lukewarm on the 4th gens. As soon as she squealed the tires on the 1-2 shift, she was in love. 2-3 squeal, however, was what got her obsessed. :bigthumb:

Yep, I used to be a member at TransAmGTA Publius. And don't worry, I also have a Civic for commuting purposes. But obviously I still have the GTA. Switching from the GTA to the Civic felt like I lost a left nut at first, but you can't argue with 40mpg hwy. To make up for some of the power loss, I installed a Stafford Fabrications Turbo kit and run 6psi. MUCH better.

Though I may be trading the Civic soon for a Buick Grand National. 4th gens are cool... but you gotta love the pre-90s cars.

Yes, I remember. Are you ever going to get another F-Body again? I have to admit though, the Civic does spoil you with it's silky smooth ride quality and ability to go 400 miles without refueling. BTW, TransAmGTA.com is gone. Alex couldn't keep the site up anymore. He had to sell Firehawk #003 too.

Hey, Is your Camaro a red one? I could've sworn I saw a journal on TGO about some Aussie guy with a Camaro trying to fit the BBS setup on the Right wheel drive car. How's the setup coming along?

My buddy has a '92 Turbo Formula that he got running this summer, he is running 14 lbs of boost, and he has ran high 10s on this set up. And from riding in his car, the thing flat out moves.

what kind of power does it put out with the turbo? How much boost are you running? Whats the comp. ratio? Ever taken it to a drag strip? Sorry about all the questions, just curious.

Yeah, can't wait to get mine up and running. The turbo is going to be a seriously tight fit with the T-RAM on there. The side tanks are wider than a Super Ram. butthair, what kit does your buddy use on his Formula?

The BBS one, if you go to the website and look at customers pictures, its Tim's TPI Firebird. Here is the picture of when he ghetto rigged it on there for a few months before he could afford a intercooler. Hes got an intercooler and all hard piping on the car now.[IMG]

    TGO is still going strong.

    Butthair:

    - No dyno figures yet. Closest one is 300+km away.
    - Only running 3psi right now as I still need to add FMU and fuel pump.
    - Stock compression.
    - Nah. Done a few runs with tuner pro tho. Best so far was a 12.2 but thats with major fuel cut over 4000rpm

Hey, I know that car. Very nicely done, but it seems to be sitting a low in the rear?

Anyway, yeah, I mostly post on car forums. Having one tag simplifies sign ins and passwords. :)

The pictures are from when i moved out to california, so the entire back is loaded full, but it was still kinda low in the rear due to my ls1 swap and fiberglass hood since i took 300 lbs off the front, so it lifted up a bit
