My cuz has a gun store and she has a gold DE in .40 S&W that she wants to get rid of to me for 1299.00 CDN is this worth it?

She's not sure how the gun laws are going to go so wants to dump inventory before it's bad news...

If he is actually talking about a baby eagle, (if it's a .40 then that is the case) then you are completely incorrect. It's a good gun. Now about it being gold. :ugh:

The only reason to buy a Desert Eagle is if it is chambered in .50AE. Only because noone will ever argue with the business end of it. Any other MR DE is crap.

:werd: only reason to buy it is if your an attention whore, and want everyone staring at you at the range, and by staring i mean laughing.

I want both, baby eagle because they are good, DE because of the novelty, just for fun :dunno:

I view the USP in the same light, its decent, but mostly a bandwagon gun, OMG counterstrike/tomb raider/socom gun!! OMGHI2UBBQ!!!one!!

:hsugh: USP functions well, people who own USP's generally dont just let them sit in the safe only taking them to the range once a year to run a mag through them. Baby Eagles maybe ok, but regular DE? Unreliable flaming piece of crap.

I never said the DE was good, but it is cool in a tacticool novelty sort of way.
USP's are overrated, there are many other guns out there that can do just as good a job, if not better for half the cost. The USP isnt a bad gun, but most people that have them get them because they are tacticool not because its some spectacular weapon.

i like my DE .50 because it's big, bulky and kicks like a mule. i don't care if other ppl laugh or not. yes, it's a novelty gun for me, but i like it and have a whole lot of fun shooting it.

have you not read the glock 21 torture test when someone thought theyd let the guy try his USP out? his USP failed miserably whereas the glock kept on going and going and going

This clearly means that all USPs are inferior to all glocks, thank you for enlightening us.

Yeatyhats what I don't like is the fact that the *gold Titanium* (my mistake not just gold) would seem retarded. she had some guy order it and then back out. And due tot he election and gun law concerns wants me to pick it up...but I dunno...

So minus the bling DE's aren't looking too good?

if i got a DE it would have to be 50 ae and be polished chrome or the 24k gold or tiger stripes :big grin:

only as novelty to bring it out and shoot watermelons or something or when ya want to impress lil kids lol
