Ok, I'm 5'9", 28 yrs old and officially weighed in at 212 lbs.

    Here's a pic (I'm on the right):

I work on the road so my eating habits were terrible. Lots of fast food. Do you guys think 175 is a good goal to shoot for? and how long should that take me?

    Mondays (Chest, Shoulders & Triceps)

    Barbell bench press
    Dumbbell flye
    Cable crossover
    Dumbbell military press
    Dumbbell lateral raise
    Bar upright row
    Cable rear lateral raise
    Cable tripceps overhead extension

    Tuesdays (Back, legs & Biceps)
    Bar bent row
    Cable seated row
    Cable straight arm pull-down
    Barbell squat
    Machine leg extension
    Machine leg curl
    Dead lift
    Dumbbell biceps curl
    EZ bar standing biceps curl
    Ab work

    Wednesday
    Rest day

    Thursday (Chest, shoulder & Triceps)
    Same excercises as Monday

    Friday (Back, legs and biceps)
    Same excercises as Tuesday

    Saturday and Sunday
    Restdays, maybe some cardio.

Only problem is I'm coming off of reconstructive knee surgery so my knees are real weak and I might spend more time rehabing that then anything else. Gonna see the specialist on Tuesday and I might need another knee surgury. :wtc:

Seems like a lot of volume. Especially for someone trying to lose weight. But I don't know.

If you are trying to lose weight, you need more cardio in there.

With that attitude, dont bother trying to lose weight, just keep being an out of shape fatty. Its just as easy to stop at a grocery store, pick up some packaged, not canned tuna, some fruit, milk, cottage cheese, or just buy protein powder and get a shaker.

i wouldn't do that routine if i were you. you're doing a 4 day split as it is so why not do it something like

    Monday: Chest and Tris, Cardio
    Wednesday: Back and Bis, Cardio
    Friday: Legs and shoulders
    Sunday: Cardio

no prep needed. don't need to have a can opener, drain the can, etc.

the guy mentioned that he eats like shit while on the road, so the packaged shit is easier for him than a can. :nono:

don't fuck with my can opener. that's a solid weapon

What attitude? I just admitted that it's a bad habit that i need to correct. I've been eating alot better recently.

But thanks to all for the suggestions. I'll keep doin what i'm doing for another month or so and see what kind of results i get. If they're not as good as I'd like them to be i'll switch it up.

  13. whether you are skinny or fat, start with christopher's routine. why does everyone like to get on BB plans when they have nothing to shape. :ugh:
