    My current equipment:

    D80
    SB-600
    Nikon 18-70
    Nikon 50mm 1.8
    Nikon 70-210

What I don't have, is a medium telephoto that has a close minimum focus distance, a macro, and a longish portrait lens.

I'm thinking the Tamron 90 fits all of these...

    Your thoughts?

Oh, and i'm grabbing a 2nd sb-600 too. I mix my off camera work between cactus wizards and Nikon CLS, so I figure the 600 is the way to go...

I have it, i love it! My first macro, but it is also very sharp for just regular shots too. I recommend it
