I just started working out about 2 months ago, and i like to do my running 2-3 days a week outside. I do have a gym membership, but i really dont like running on the treadmill. I like running outside, but the season is changing here in the northeast. IS there any kind of precautions to take when jogging in tempertures in the 20s-30s? When your sweating that much, is it still still neccessary to bundle up like you would for normal outdoor activites?

Just layer your clothing appropriately. If your warm and sweating strip down a layer..but make sure you put on an extra layer when you stop your activity or are cooling down.

i think it's still a good idea to keep on the layers and just sweat to decrease your vunerability

The point is to avoid sweating. Its not going to be a big deal since he'll be returning home but the last thing you want is damp clothes and prolonged exposure to the cold.

This is not a helpful reply. But you're in PA, doesn't it get much colder than 20-30 degrees there? Extreme cold doesn't exactly describe it up there I thought. :dunno:
