but I don't think that you can go D-Sub VGA to HDMI without some conversion.

You can get a dsub to dsub, then a dsub to DVI adapater and then a DVI to HDMI adapter. Probably look like shit once done . . . :big grin:

that won't work. Those DVI-DSub adapters simply take the analog signal from a DVI-I output and adapt it to a 15-pin VGA plug. There is no analog-to-digital conversion or vice-versa going on.

    WILL NOT WORK.

DVI can carry DIGITAL and ANALOG on one cable -- but it's different pins

HDMI is compatible with DVI-D (and only carries the digital sig)

Just wondering why you say better then FireFold?

I will pricematch anything, but generally we one of the lowest on the web.. and still provide 110% service to each and every customer.

I purchase bulk for resale. PIMFG actually manufacturers their product and their service has been second to none. Their prices are best that I've found for the quality you get.

To give you an idea of their service, I had a client building a new smart-home and wanted my company to wire it. We needed 2xQS-RG6, 4xCat6, and 2xSC-Fibre run to each room in the home. PI built me a custom cable reel where everything was on one reel in a heatshrink tube. For almost the same price as buying individual spoolpaks of individual cable. It made things so easy. I love them.

I have an account with PI. They run pretty high in price esp. on stuff like bulk. We kill everyone in bulk and networking. They have some decent prices on TOSlinks and such - nothing I couldn't beat though.

Everyone is a "manufacturer" when it comes to us sales lol. I'm straight with my customers. I import everything we sell.

I can have custom cables in any size shape form, etc. made here in the US also.

Well I have visited their facility. They actually manufacture cables. When I lived in SoCal I could go down to their facility and get a custom-pinned cable in any length basically on-the-spot. Not an import.

I've seen your stuff. You have some okay things. For the most part, I am not impressed. I am definitely less impressed with you in this forum. Quite poor taste to be doing this in anything other than a PM.

Sorry to hear that. I'm was just letting you know what we do. I'm not bashing PI by any means.

I get calls from these people day in and day out about being producers. 99% of people are just a middle man of a middle man wasting my time.

You see my end user pricing online. We do wholesale - at a much discounted rate of couse.. the more you buy the cheaper I go.

We've taken company's and saved them $100,000+ a month in just fiber and bulk cable. They were paying US distro prices..

If you ever want to let me get a shot of doing that with you guys let me know. I'm sure we could do well for each other.

Poor taste? Are you fucking kidding me? The thread asks about Firefold and mentions it by name. What the fuck do you expect from someone who pays OT to advertise? Moron.

Taldir, pay no attention to assmunch here. He pitches his tent by ranting and raving into everyone on this sub-forum. It is quite comical to say the least.

When someone suggests another company it is certainly in poor taste to do what taldir did. Getting into an argument with me because I'm not sackriding his poor cables is quite unprofessional.
