any other way to compile a C# program except using visual studio.net?

    i dont feel like installing it on my laptop cause it's kind of slow so i was wondering if there was any other way?

    You can download the SDK from MS and compile from the command line.

    there used to be a nice - and completely free - C# and VB.NET thingie called csharp - but now their site seems fuxored

    there's also mono, http://www.go-mono.com (haven't been to their website in a while, try it without the -); apparentley they're also for UNIX.

    Also microsoft's .NET SDK is free, but only the command line version. Look on their site.

    Once you get that program, it's something like..

    csc YourApp.cs
