I may be placing an order with Newegg soon, and would like any opinions on this order. Is the processor a good value? I do want to go with an AMD64, but maybe there is a cheaper one that runs just as well. Thanks!

    - All the links are linked to Newegg. -

    AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (2.2ghz)

    GIGABYTE "GA-K8NS PRO"

Corsair Value Select 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 (2 sticks)

    Arctic Silver Thermal Compound

    Thermaltake Black Mid Tower Case

Sparkle Power "Power Q" 350W Power Supply

I'm going to keep the same video card (GeForce4 Ti4400), sound card, and hard drive.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a reason I should stay away from Gigabyte? I'm open for suggestions on any motherboard. I just picked this one because it looked like it had everything that I wanted.

I started carrying gigabyte in my store about 2 years ago (due to popular demand)... I offer a 1-year in-store warranty on basically everything I sell... Well, the gigabyte boards had a *signifigant* failure rate just after my in-store warranty expired. Seems they are not good for more than about a year. Now that doesn't really affect me, but in the better interest of my customers, I have ditched Gigabyte. If reliability is at all important to you, I'd recommend you stick with Asus or MSI.
