MMA any one use octopus guard

    saw some guy using it today and it was very effective for him looked annoying as shit to be on the other end

    its a pointless name for when youre on the bottom in full or half guard and able to swim under your opponents arm and attack their back.

    looks pretty difficult to get there in the first place... I am sure you could pull it off on some noob but would be assloads hard on a good opponent.

    the way i saw this one kid doing it is he would go for a gulitine with his right arm around the head and the left tightening it.

    From there if he couldnt get the choke with his left hand he would get a under hook then hook the same arm with his right hand as well and pull him down as he moved around to that side.

    He would be able to get into the position fairly easy. Seems like something different that would help you become more aggressive like the rubber guard. Not something to bank your whole game on but its nice to pop out of no where with.
