Im dropping weight and I managed to taper down 22 pounds already but I havent been able to drop more then a pound a week if that the last 2 weeks. I was thinking about hitting up a nutritionist and was wondering if any one else has hit one up. Wanted to know what to expect and how much it was.

HA! Get off O/T and read a serious bodybuilding forum. BTW, there is no such thing as a "Nutritionist."

    mindandmuscle.net

Or try some Albuterol or Sesamin, both are great, easy to get and use fat burners.

a freind of mine thats a boxer over at warriors boxing says alot of their guys hit up this chick at University of Miami thats supposed to be an amazing sports nutritionist. Im going to give it a shot on my own for another 2 weeks. If im still not making any progress I will hit her up it will still give me 6 weeks to prepare lol.

Do any of the supplements in fight magazines work?

its all in diet, lower carbs more protein. Honestly ask in F&N its all diet and the people who know their shit will defiently chime in.

supplements wont get you ripped the work in the kitchen/gym do.

Anything a nutrionist can tell you is easily/readily available online for free. Unless you are going to hire a chef and a personal assistant who watches over what you eat - you can find it all online. Hell, I could copy/paste a list of 30 things you should eat and boom - it's all done.

Clean diet consisting of lean meats (chicken, fish, turkey), fibrous veggies (broccoli, cauli, etc), fruits (berries + bananas), healthy carbs (sweet potatoes, brown rice) and lots of water..

For supplements - use a whey protein for shakes and take fish oil, multi-vitamin and flaxseed pills regularly.. If you need a "pick me up" before lifting - try something like Superpump 250 or Red Blast.. If you need a pick me up before cardio - try Cardio Breeze. If you need energy or a pick me up before MMA/BJJ - try a protein bar and a banana. If you want to lose weight/fat - look to the E/C stack for answers. Typically use 25/200 E/C as your split. Start once a day, ramp up to twice a day.

After workouts - be sure to take in simple carbs like Gatorade and mix with protein (whey?) shortly after intake of carbs.

    Sample Day -

Breakfast - 3 eggs (3 whites, 1 yolk), Whey Shake w/ Steel Cut Oats
Snack - Piece of Fruit + Fat Free Yogurt
Lunch - Chicken Breast + Broccoli + Brown Rice
Snack - can of tuna fixed to taste or 2 servings of low fat cottage cheese
Dinner - salmon + sweet potatoe + black beans
    Pre-workout - supps if needed
    Post-workout - quick digesting carbs + protein

Take a multi-vitamin once a day, fish/flax twice a day and drink a shake or two a day.

Watch your calories and your split. You should take in 1 g of protein for every 1 lbs of weight and your split for P/C/F should be somewhere around 33/33/33 for a normal person looking to be lean and strong.

carb cycle. medium carbs training days, with 1 high carb day on your toughest training day, low carbs every other day.

Too much work for most people. Also, gets too messy for most people to start TRULY counting carbs.

Eat clean every day + supplment properly + exercise = win.. Most people make such a fucking huge deal about it to the point that they quit/slack.

Eat clean + work hard = results..

yea, i guess if you don't know about nutrition and are thinking about seeking a nutritionist then carb cycling is complex. but for anyone that has any control over their nutrition/has been doing it a long time, then it's easy as hell and very effective.
