Peroz, perez...what the fuck ever his name is.

    He does.

I think most people here MMA box if they do it at all(like me).

I'm somewhere between shitty and "eh" at proper boxing, but pretty decent for a amateur MMA fighter.

But I have long arms so I can get away with it.

I have long arms too. My striking is primarily kicks and im not that good with my hands I just use them to set up kicks and take downs but now I want to start working my hands more so I decided Im gona take up boxing Im gonna start doing 2 hours a day 5 days a week for like 2 - 3 months. I just wanted to know how much id improve in that time

A decent amount, esspecially if you trained with a boxing coach(not a MMA striker).

Hes gonna have a heart attack at your stance and the way you move though.

boxing footwork is going to kill your TD defense. Learn the hands and adapt it to MMA.

quite a bit id imagine, depending on your learning curve, your coach, if you actually go 2 hours a day 5 days a week though should be great to improve your boxing skillset... dont go for 2-3 months, why not just do it from now on?

I got lucky. I help a guy who boxed professionally with his bjj and he teaches me standup, but primarily boxing in return.

I've been doing that for a few months. My hand speed is so much better than it was.

it depends because I will be in the police academy in three months so the schedule might conflict and I train in muay thai now so I was going to use that to help develop my game
