    ... I'm chasing some info in regards to old skool beetles and so far Mr Google hasnt been too helpful. [IMG]

    In case anyone here is in the know my questions are;

    - Whats the stud pattern for the early style 5-stud wheels?

    - Whats the widest rim that this stock 69 baja could fit and still turn?

    [IMG]

    - Can anyone give me a run-down on whats involved in a lift-kit for a baja?

    - What are these rims called, and would there be a 5 stud variant?

    Basicly, I want to know what might be involved turning the top one into something like the bottom one. :hsd:

    I ran 15x6.5 on my 68.
    I imagine you could go wider depending on the offset of the rim.
    When I slammed mine, I had to go to a 5.5 rim, the extra inch was killing me.

    I dont think you would have a problem since yours is lifted without the fender lips.
