Do you know when they are getting in the new Mitsubishi Diamond series HDTVs? Well, Ultimate Electronics really since our Audio King converted over. Also, what in your opinion would be a good alternative to the Mitsu TVs? Also, can you get me a good price on one?

the hitachi is a good set. although, there is an s model that just looks a million times better. sorry, don't know about the toshiba's. don't sell them. besides those two, look at the new 48 inch mitsu's. they're amazing.

the new diamonds aren't going to be in for a while yet. the other new sets, the ..13's, are already in. just not the diamonds. from what i hear, they're going to be even better than the "tv of the year award winning" diamonds last year. new net command 3.0, plus lots of other goodies. what's a good alternative. honestly...nothing. the elites are nice, but wow those diamonds are just amazing, especially w/ the integrated tuner. now depending on where you live, it may or may not be of use to you. let me know what city and state that you're in. this will also affect if i can help you out or not. let me know, cause i usually "whore" out products for friends/companions...

I live in Rochester, MN. I am specifically interested in the 65" model so I can take advantage of the 9" guns on it.

if you want to be more successful of a sales person, then its in your best interest to learn about the competition.

you are only hurting your sales if you dont know what the other guy has

let me know what you want, then i'll look it up and tell you what i can do. then we'll see if it's worth the drive or not. actually, if you live in rochester, there's a store down there that you could "possibly" pick it up at. let me know, then i'll post back.

couldn't agree w/ you more. but the new toshiba's are out now and i haven't been able to research too much of them due to my injury. although they are really good tv's, i don't think that they can even compare to a mitsu or an elite. that's not just from me, read any home theater magazine. but plz, don't be reading consumer reports...they don't know how to rate audio/video equipment worth crap. just my 2 cents.

Is Carver still a decent Home Audio company? I've had a whole Carver set up for about 10 years now and it still sounds awesome to my ear. I have recently replaced the Carver speakers with Paradigm in wall speakers though.

    how about TVs?

I like Samsung's new DLP rear projection TVs but I don't know if i should jump the gun now or wait for Pioneer and other companies to jump in on the DLP bandwagon.

I'm not too crazy about the Samsung brand, but their new DLP tvs look trick

ya they're decent. wouldn't be my first choice, but then again i probably look for different things in a tv than other would. i honestly feel as thouh the dlp is just a huge hype right now. the technology is decent, but the quality for the $$ just isn't there. just my 2 cents.

ya you have an excellent setup. i personally don't like any in wall speakers, but i haven't heard the paradim one's so i can't really comment. but then again, from what i heard there are no good in walls, but that's my what i've heard.

I'm not overly impressed with the in wall speakers. But I haven't went out and priced/listened to any floor speakers. Not until these in walls take a shit.

everything has pretty much been said that i would. if you can, go with marantz. probably the best quality for what you are looking for. yamaha is pretty good also, but don't ever get their speakers. they really do suck a lot. just my 2 cents...

anything lg, i would definately stay away from. and for an lcd, honestly, look @ it first. if you think that it looks really bad with no picture depth and color depth, well you are correct. they're notorious, lcd's that is, for lacking in these two really important elements. depending on how much you're spending, definately let me know and i could come up with a lot better options for you. pm me if you'd like.

Just to make sure, i'm talking about the LCD REAR PROJECTION MODEL, not a normal LCD. I find that where I live, there aren't may of these around. I'm looking for a big TV (Above 55inch) with a $5000 budget. So in general i can only afford rear projection models. I'm interested in the LG, because it has far and away the best picture quality of any of the rear projection models.
