Any of you guys have "cardio days"

    for the first time in awhile i did some cardio on the elliptical after bis yesterday and actually liked it...

    do any of you guys just go to the gym for 30min-1hr for just cardio?

    im in the gym 4x a week for lifting purposes but i dont like lifitng + cardio in the same day

    i personally hate cardio...but im pretty lean to begin with.

    I am going to start in the AM I think. I am usually too tired/beat to do cardio after lifting.

    Yeah this fat mother fucker right here, none lately because the treadmills are jammed with reso's but I'll resume them again shortly.

    Usually 10 min bike warm up
    20 min eliptical med intensity
    20 min HIIT
    5 minute walk cool down
    stretch

    I usually have 2 days of pure cardio, one playing lacrosse and one the in the gym to increase my endurance for lacrosse. I also tack it on to my 3 weight days too

    I keep a couple of pure cardio days in the schedule every week. Not only does it help keep my weight down, there are obviously many other positive side affects from having some cardiovascular endurance.

    i do cardio like 5 days a week. sometimes just for 10 minutes after lifting or 30 minutes fasted in the morning when i first wake up...

    Sometimes when I'm visiting friends for the weekend, I'll go for a 30-45 min run in the morning.

    Yes, but since I have a road and mountain bike they are reserved for those days. I struggle to just go to the gym for cardio only...unless it's between 12-2pm when all the strippers go in my area. Then it's a little easier to deal with. :bigthumb:

    Cardio for 20 mins after lifting 4x/week, just cardio for 40-60 mins the other 3x/week.

    My main goal is weight/fat loss though.

    Tuesdays and Thursdays are my dedicated cardio days.

    Yeah, I do cardio everyday I work out, I lift 4 of those days, and I aim for just a 5th day of purely cardio.

    I don't consider my 15 minute post work out runs as cardio.

    Usually do 30 minutes low intensity on a bike after lifting, but I'm skipping out on that now because I can't put on weight for shit... Used to be 155, at 166 now, trying to get to 185. :o

    I do a 20 min jog and a 30 min static bike after every day I lift.
    Trying to cut fat while not loosing too much muscle =|.
    Slowly but surely...I hope.

    I did when I was cutting and when I start cutting again I will. Nice low key day, go when something I don't mind watching on tv is on and just rock out an hour or so at like 120 bpm

    I always cardio after lifting, but I think im gonna make saturday just a cardio day. The feeling after a hard cardio session is pure sex.

    I do it after every workout, either 10 miles on bike or 2-3 miles eliptical/run

    i do high intensity interval training. quicker/fun/

    pretty cool when your '"all out running" phase starts increasing over time and you feel less out of breath even though your heart is beating 10 pumps a second.
