    My wife is really having trouble sleeping lately. I have to guess that its related to her working out because I can't think of anything else.

    She does a shit-ton of cardio, some moderate weight training, and eats well (appropriate carbs, protein, and fat). Supps are vitamins, fish oil, and Tight (the version for women). She takes the Tight at like 8AM in the recommended dose so it has at least 14 hours before she goes to bed. When she does sleep OK she sleeps in till 7-7:30 (I get up at 5 to lift :hsd: ).

    I believe the Tight is unrelated to this because she was having some issues before she started taking it. It might have excacerbated the sleeplessness a bit, but not much.

    Any ideas? :hsd:

    go to store and get 3mg melatonin, give her one 30 minutes before bed for about a week or so and see if she gets back into her sleep pattern. If 3mg doesnt do it, give her 6mg.

    She is busting her ass off, but does not go every day. Probably 5 days a week.

    Would a caloric deficit contribute to sleeplessness?

    She's like 5'5" and around 117 pretty ripped but sometimes I don't think she eats enough given her activity level.

    Maybe have her save some of her carb consumption just before bed.... that may help too. That usually helps me.

    i think 3mg is way to much. personally i have had great success with just 1/4th of a pill every night.

    shit if I know. Youre probably right, I just knew what it was used for but I actually never heard if it was a liquid or powder now that I think about it.
