like 5 months ago people were saying late q1 of 2008. obviously there would be more talk about it if that were true.

who cares? verizon network is okay, but their plans are uber-expensive and their employees are fucking dipshits.

Sprint csr's are really bad, but at least the network is good and it's cheap.

The battery on the Curve on the GSM network is already less than the 8800 series, I bet CDMA chews up that battery.

my CDMA Pearl does well on battery. I'm constantly on it and it'll last a few days.

I plug it in every night and I've never even come close to draining it even when talking for a few hours.

How do you like the SureType keyboard? I am trying to decide if I should get the pearl or if i should hold out for the curve. I dont really mind the larger size of the curve so i am thinking i should just wait for it.

I had a Curve on AT&T and to be 100% honest the QWERTY keyboard is better. Screen size didn't make a diff to me. SureType is okay, but not great. Honestly, I like the smaller size of the pearl, but if the Curve had been available with Sprint, I probably would have bought it.

As for pearl/curve it's up to you. I needed a new phone (had to get away from AT&T before my 30-days was up and I was stuck in a contract) so I settled on the pearl. If I could have waited it out without some major fees, then I would want the Curve.

that's what I'm doing to. My contract is up for verizon...I really don't want to switch but if they don't come out with the Curve soon I just might move over to At&T

I've never had Verizon, but I hate what they do with their phones. That Verizon software is terrible. It doesn't really matter what phone you have, the software is practically the same.

Blackberry and Windows Mobile stuff excluded of course.

I'd have a Blackberry on SERO if my Sprint line was my main phone line. Since it's not, I'm not gonna pay the extra $30 :o
