So far I take every day:
    - a good multi-vitamin,
    - B-100 complex pill with high amounts of b6 and b12
    - zinc
    - L-arginine powder (7-10 grams a day), actually arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) if it matters
    - good whey protein isolate/peptide powder with lots of admino acids (Optimum 100%), occasionally the ECA stack or melatonin for sleep.

I am trying to put on more muscle while reducing body fat, getting leaner. Any other supplements to suggest? I haven't messed with Creatine because I thought it would just add water weight to the muscles, but how about Glutamin...would I definitely see more muscle building with Glutamine? and I am wondering what benefit I would see from Omega-3.

I figure I am going to be taking the ones I already do, I might as well take all the necessary ones. Seeing if there isnt any I don't know about I should pick up, want to help myself all I can. Thanks :wavey:

    thanks :wavey:

Was wondering as far as admino acids go, any worth individually taking besides the arginine? I heard about HMB/l-leucine but I have no idea about it.

l-leucine is a big one. Just take a BCAA to cover all your basis. But by the looks of things I think you don't need to buy more supplements. Shit gets real expensive. All I take is a multi vitamin, lots of fish oil, vitamin d3, whey/casein protein and beta alanine.

    .

The two most important supplements that everyone should be taking, weightlifter or not.

    .

100% of all the big commercial multivitamins are worthless. Getting a good multivitamin is a big investment though, going to cost over a dollar a day, and you need to take 6-8 pills a day.

i dont think you need that many pills a day but i agree. i still think its better to spend 30dollars a month on a good multi than get some no-xplode or whatever the next big fad supplement is.

Here is a ranking of a shitload of different multivitamins. I take the USANA brand. All of the ones that are rated over 90% have a recommended dosage of 6-8 pills a day I believe. It's simply not possible to pack any more nutrients into a pill and still be able to swallow it.
