    Fake M203

I know this thing isn't WMD's taste, and quite frankly it's not mine either. Which is why I wanna sell it. Think anyone would buy this? I bought it off a friend and all I know about it is it has "some real parts." It's pretty heavy also. I searched on google but wasnt really sure what I was looking for. I kept finding 37mm launchers. Any help would be appreciated.

Just looking at the pictures the whole upper looks like a real upper. Looks like a aimpoint or aimpoint knock off, the scope mount looks real and worth money. I would assume the lower and the 37mm are fake otherwise it would legally be a gun.

If it's a real upper and mounts, rails, scope are not knock offs then I would say it's worth some decent money. Should have somebody that knows AR's and not a complete knob look at it.

Did we read the same thread? I read that he owns it, and he's trying to sell just the launcher.

Upper is 100% real. It's a Colt M4 barrel, as is the Aimpoint (older Comp M). I'm just asking about the M203 wannabe. I won't be offended if everyone here thinks it's totally worthless, just trying to figure out if it's even worth selling. Some things I'd just rather keep if they're not worth much. This thing is 40mm and will NOT fire anything. So it's just for looks. It does however feel pretty sturdy and to be honest I thought it was pretty sweet until I took it off.

And just FYI here's how the gun looks now

    Someone will pay for it.

Personally, just get $1500 and buy a real DD.

Would a 37mm launcher be useful at all? Like in a SHTF situation? If things were to fall apart (read complete chaos) you could always load some buckshot or flechettes in one of the 37mm shells and have a pretty powerful underslung shotgun.

    Oh and IbATFassrape.

if it's non-functional then I think it's worthless. But someone somewhere will pay something for it. Just don't know who, where, or what?

I don't know crap about the 37mm's or the real 40's but the 37's might not be upto the same build quality as a 40, they sell reloading supplies for the 37's but there could be pressure differences between say a flare and a homerolled HE nade wouldn't want to find that out the hardway. :eek4:
