I am looking to add this to my supplement list and want to know what brands people have tried and what their experiences were. The major thing I am looking to avoid is the dreaded 'fish burp' and also heartburn or indigestion.

Keep the bottle in the fridge, if you really need to get the coated kind for no fish oil burps but it costs more.

    Take two with every meal.

Around 10 but I'd suggest 4-6 or else it will start getting expensive. Don't take around bedtime either or you won't be able to sleep.

I use Equate because I live near no Costco. Fishy flavored burps drive my SO's cat crazy.

I take ascenta in liquid form. Oddly enough, never get fish burps from that but the enteric coated caps I used to take would give me fish burps.

Kirkland one-a-day...has 1200mg of fish oil in one cap. Better than the standard where you have to take it 3x a day.

a whole 200mg more than a standard one makes it a one a day?

get whatever you can find a good value on that has a sufficient amount of DHA/EPA. Costco is cheap and good. Puritan Pride always has a special on their stuff which works out to pretty cheap. Ebay has some good bulk deals. Just shop around. Fish oil is fish oil
