Yep, metalhead here, I'm not gonna bother listing bands, I mean who reads those huge lists anyway? Some bands that are getting some serious playtime with me at the moment are Golem (2nd moon), Arghoslent (Incorrigible bigotry), Epheles (La dernier pardon), Odious mortem (Devouring the prophecy) and Cynic (Focus) amongst others. One site that has really helped me find new bands is this one (when it works):

    http://www.metal-archives.com

    It's a metalheads best friend!

EDIT: just check the website, looks like I get to see em on the 28th, theyr playing at the SF Pound (not a gay bar) with Origin and Severed Savior. should be a good show, only $10 a ticket.

Evergrey's bassist is on the new one and I can actually hear the old Grey influences. I emphasize 'old' cause the new one is shit. But yeah the PH album is owning me right now.

    Lamb of God
    Throwdown
    Bleeding Through
    Bury Your Dead
    Hatebreed
    Terror
    Full Blown Chaos
    Sworn Enemy

Theres some others I can't think of. I don't really follow metal that much anymore.

I saw Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, Throwdown and Fear Factory in Lawerence Kansas a while back. Children of Bodom has the most boring show I've ever seen. Maybe if I liked their music a little more it would have been better but they just stood there, barely ever moved. The keyboard guy even looked bored. He just stood there poking his keyboard with one finger and drinking a beer, he looked liek he was about to fall alseep. I was really dissapointed.
