    there was an EDU either on here or Arfcom for some really nice spray/bake shit. You just gotta be really careful and make sure you degrease the shit out of the parts

    Well your glock isn't blued to start with so you'll not have a great match and I'm not sure how well cold bluing will take to tenifer'ed metal. Wear your scratches proudly ;)

    oh glock's slides arent blued? so how do you refinish a glock?

    They get parkerized after the tenifer process. There's lots of aftermarket finishes people apply from cheaper paints to more expensive stuff like ionbond. The metal is still protected though so its just aesthetics.

    Aluma-hide, duracoat, molyresin, KG Guncoat, etc.

    Pick one of the common finishes and you can usually do it yourself.

    Or, since it's just a slide...... I'd just pay the money and send it off. You will only have to send off the slide, not the whole gun, so it wouldn't cost dick to ship. I think Glock will re-blackin your slide for like $65 or so.
