I need someone to double check my numbers :o

1.3 cubic feet, 37" slotted port (1.5" x 12"). That should get me a 30hz box, correct? Also...

    Pardon the horrible drawing...

Am I safe to say that in this picture, everything in the green is counted as the volume for the speaker, everything in blue is counted as the volume for the vent, and the dotted lines are counted as the length of the vent?

Your calculation is correct, but you forgot end correction factor. The vent will effectively continue outwards from the physical end slightly and take up a small part of the box volume.

Factoring it in you will get a 31.5Hz tuning and a Vb of 1.292 Cu. ft. Shouldnt change much in terms of output though.
