I'm 26 and going bald on the back/top of my head. Anyone have any advice as to what I can do? Does anyone know how much, on average the hair transplant surgery is? Anything you got is greatly appreciated.

Your hair isn't as important as you currently think it is.

The sooner you realize that, the better.

No surgery or gel or shampoo is going to correct balding, and your insecurity will cause you to miss out on many more sluts than your bald head will.

keep the hair as short as necessary.

My dad is bald on the top and he used to have the rest like an inch or so long but he started shaving it to a 2 or 3 with his beard trimmer a few years ago and hasn't gone back, it looks way better.

I hope I don't go bald because I have a small head for my body so it would exaggerate that even more :o I do have a high hairline already though. That shit better stop there.

im not sure about hair transplant, but i know people that have taken vitamins and that has helped them a lot.
the above link has the list of vitamins impt for hair growth.

is it genetic or are u just stressed out/not eating right?

if its a matter of stress/eating habits...my best friend was stressed out for a while, and wasn't eating right and she lost a good amount of hair because of it.
but genetically (usually from ur mom's side) her family didnt have hair loss, so she was able to gain back.

theres tons of treatments out there, but i wouldnt trust just trying anything.
    so go see a doctor.

Every hair transplant I have ever seen looked like the head of a doll. You can tell big time.

I fear I will lose mine eventually. My dad starting balding ~ 35 and my grandpa on my moms side started balding ~ 45.

I am glad that shaved heads are a lot more acceptable now though. I will likely just shave mine when/if I start balding hardcore. I would have to keep it clean and sophisticated like Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) from Smallville.

I don't think the standard shaved head and goatee thing would suit me well... Just not my style. Plus it might look strange beeing an accountant and in a full-suit all the time.

plenty of accountants, lawyers, etc with shaved heads. if you have the head and chin for it, you dont need the goatee.

i have a big head and small chin so the goatee balances out my face. :big grin:

Yeah, I know... I was just messing around.

I hope I keep my hair because I can't see a shaved head looking good on me since my head is kinda small in proportion to my body... but what must be, must be.

mines coming back, I'm using that Laser comb and I think it's working. I'm like 5 weeks into it, it says to give 10-12 weeks to see results. It's also FDA approved and my doctor says it has a 90% success rate. Ill do a full thread in at 12 weeks.

    http://www.lasercomb.net/?gclid=CPixr_K0qI0CFRoRYQodHFFTxA
if you wanna check it out, it's got some info on the site about it.

Oh, I'm also running a huge cycle right now and still seeing some results, it might be more drastic for someone else.

you could always just go ahead and shave it and see how it looks. it will grow back (most of it :mamoru: )

or post a few headshots and someone can photoshop your hair off. :big grin:
