I branch through OCS on friday and need some backup options in case Armor runs out before it gets to me (im mid-way on the OML). Looking at Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery and cant really find any good info about what those jobs are like at the PL level. All that ive heard from cadre is that if i go FA, expect to have to learn a shit load of information in the first few years. but i've heard almost nothing about ADA because its not really a popular branch around here. anyone with experience want to chime in? :x:

my buddy is a field artillery officer, he said he had to learn a bunch of physics shit (ballistics and such) but when he deployed, his boys/the computers did all that anyway so he just sat around with his sig waiting for fire missions
