antivirus info

    what are some good free antivirus software...ive heard to stay away from nortons..any suggestions?

    I like Avast. Everyone swears by AVG but in a comparo that was done, AVG ranked near the bottom. Avast was around the middle of the pack.

    I run Clam and F-Prot on my file server at work. Haven't had any trouble with viruses since I set it up.

    I think there are windows versions of both, but can't confirm that.

    I just downloaded Avast this evening....seems to be working well now. Plus its the only one that I've found that has x64 ability.
