    I was channel surfing and caught the end of a piece about a vehicle-mounted system being developed by the army to intercept incoming rockets...

    I'm looking for more info.
    anyone know what i'm talking about?

    i saw this super slow motion video of an rpg being intercepted on it's way to a humvee.

    i saw a news report promo about it, i think. the israelis are fielding it according to the news. it uses electronic countermeasures to prematurely detonate the warhead or something.

    You're probably talking about Trophy (google it). General Dynamics tested it on a Stryker a while back.

    There's all kinds of these systems being introduced, from an Aussie Sniper locator that was in use with the US Secret Service to the Phalanx CIWS being adapted to destroy incoming mortars.

    Isn't the Sniper locater used in Iraq by a lot of americans?

    I think you meant anti-indirect mortar/artillery. I don't think there is a system out there that intercepts direct fire from RPGs
