Anti-Aliasing & Antroscopic Filtering

    Can someone briefly explain the two of these?


    I know anti-aliasing helps smooth out the "blocky" look of an image's pixels, but what exactly does antroscopic filtering do?

    Anisotropic filtering gets rid of saw-toothing on diagonal polygon edges.
