Another rim ??? but PLEASE HELP!@!!!!

    Ok heres the deal....my car went into the body shop and I left my rims on(dont flame me i know it was wrong) and after i got the car out the rims now have a residue on them that i cant get off....kinda looks like dried up dust, or wax from wet sand and buff...or just plain water marks.....What can I use to get this shiot off.....I washed the rims with soap and water.....then I used Meguairs hot wheels cleaner.....all no luck....What can I use PLease helpme out............

    are you able to scratch it off with your finger? If you are you might want to try a clay bar.

    I would take it back to the body shop and let them know you expect them to either remove the overspray or have the wheel stripped and recoated or outright replaced.

    They were obviously neglegent in not taping it off properly. If they give you a problem, contact your insurance company (if you car was repaired through insurance).
