a coworker found this and we made it at work one day. Since then i crave this snack and its awesome!

    1 cup Natural peanut butter
    8 tablespoons honey
    1&1/4 cups whey protein powder
    1 cup of uncooked oatmeal

Mix the pb and honey in a bowl, microwave on full for 80 secs. Add the rest and mix together (get your hands in man!!) can add raisins/nuts etc to taste. Smooth into 13x9 tray and leave for 20 mins. Cut into 10 to 12 equal bars and wrap and store in fridge!!

Good luck and happy munching.......you'll be back for more!!

i've even lessened the amount of honey and added sweetners a bit of water, and it tastes great!!
you can even eat it while its not formed, just spoon it into your mouth

maybe i did something wrong, but way back when i tried these I was in some severe pain. Since i usually have an iron stomach, I blame it on all the dry oats. never again.

Maybe adding some chocolate, something that is solid at room temperature will help solidify the peanut butter which is normally soft at room temperature.

Im just thinking about not keeping them in the fridge all the time

when i added whey to the pb and honey, the mixture got dry and crusty. after adding in the oatmeal i dumped it in the tray and flatten them and put it in the fridge for about an hour. when i cut them to bars they started to crack and fall apart, probably should have added more pb. but it was still good eating it with a spoon.

3 hrs of freezing later, I cut them up . . . its peanut butter, so its not really going to freeze, they are soft like a snickers bar when you pull em out frozen. It just helps it form. I added about 1/4 cup of water to mine to help with that . .

on a side note, wayyy to much honey, these things are CRAZYYY SWEET. Im going to use them as only a protein bar to wake my ass up in the AM. I took a half of bit outa one just now at 5 am and was like WHOAAAA instant jolt.

I wish pb had no carbs. I could live off that shit. Unfortunately my body sucks with carbs and needs to be seriously deprived to lose weight.
