I know some of you guys are gonna kill me for mentioning GI, but the fact is that dates have a very high glycemic index which seems to say that they have a crapload of glucose in them. However, they are a fruit and this implies that fructose makes up a lot of the sugars in them; I haven't been able to google any results as to just how much fructose is in them. Yet, even christophers, doesn't generally get into details on the forum, said to avoid fructose in the PWO meal. So, does anyone actually know the value of dates in the post workout? I can't reconcile their known high GI value with what I'm assuming is a high amount of fructose in them.
