Couple of weeks ago I got into a accident with my Explorer. My body shop tells me that its totaled. Long story short .........

Driving down the road, got t-boned, hit a railing from the impact.

That does not look totaled to me. Maybe you should find a new body shop.

Trucks already gone. With the miles that were on it and the damage thats there ....... they totaled it. The truck is a 96 W/ 150,000+ on the clock. It ran great, but there was something bound to happen with it being AWD.

I paid $3,500 for it and put in about a grand worth of parts. I'm my own mechanic so I installed all the parts. IE: brakes, sound system, shocks, front hubs. Not to mention, she cleaned up real nice.

Insurance company gave me $5,100 for it and let me keep the sound system. :o

Not really. The Block is a roller with GT-40 upper and lower intake. It comes from the factory like that on all Explorers. Thats why its common to see Mustang guys install a Explorer intake on their cars. Its cheaper and flows better than the intake they have.

If you do a quick a search on eBay you might find this .......

    Explorer Intake

Got it for 11Gs. It has around 95K on the clock and fully loaded. The only thing it don't have is a sunroof.
