well, the Comptact MTAC for my 1911 & the Glock slide body is on the way. Now I need an OWB for each.

I think I've decided on the Blackhawk CQC for the G34 but I'm between the Comp-Tac Paddle and the Blade-tech SRB Belt Holster for the 1911. :hs:

    http://www.comp-tac.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=53
    http://www.blade-tech.com/SRB-Sting-Ray-Belt-Holster-IDPA-Approved-pr-939.html

Ideally, I'd like to get the same holster for both guns but at half the price, it'd be nice to save $25-$35 getting the Blackhawk for the glock over the comp-tac or the blade-tech.

Essentially, whichever one I get for the 1911 I'll probably get for the Glock if I don't get the blackhawk.

I'll let WMD decide which one to get. :o

anyone have a LH G17 Blackhawk CQC they want to trade for LH G17 Blackhawk Serpa CQC :x: :o

I use a bianchi model 105. It rides pretty high and tight. I like it a lot. Its pretty concealable for an off the shelf OWB.

I like my CompTac Paddle with FBI Cant. I've never used the blade-tech so I can't comment on it, but the CompTac has been top notch on retention through out the last 3 years of shooting.

how's the lockup with your belt? i guess i'm worried more about stability with the paddle than anything. i know the bladetech paddle works great because it has hooks on the inside that you can adjust based on belt width.

my mtac shipped already :eek3:. pics when it comes in :x:

    Same :o

Its too hot out to really get into exercising though. The main problem with the spare tire is that it pushes the butt of the gun away from my body.

I just don't think low riding holsters are as comfortable. Once late sept. early oct. comes around I plan to start doing some cardio workouts. For now I'm going to start lifting, hopefully that will help me slim down a bit. I think a diet change might be in order as well, I eat some pretty shitty food most of the time.

Just too impatient to take the time to cook it when I know I can eat in 10 minutes when I go to wendys :o

The HF1 is too fancy for my tastes. I have heard that it conceals pretty well though.

It also sucks that good gun leather has such long turnaround times. I've been waiting since April for my High Noon leather.

Then I'd be stuck eating mac and cheese and tv dinners all the time :o I'll work on it once I'm back at my own house. I do a lot better when there's actually food to eat where I'm staying. My parents don't keep a lot of food in the house.
