So, I bought this book on pre order since Annie Leibovitz is one of my fav photographers. I find her lighting to be truly inspiring and the way she is able to get her subjects to bend to her will to get the shot that she wants/needs. I wasn't expecting lighting diagrams, but I was expecting a peek into how she manages shoots, and how she interacts with clients and directs them to get the shot. While I did get a small peek into how she runs a shoot I have to say I was mostly dissatisfied with the book. The majority of the book seems to be more about padding her ego than anything. There were a few gems though, the chapter on her shoot with Queen was interesting, along with hearing of her progression from film to digital. Anyone else pick up the book? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I want to dislike her for some reason, but I have to admit I do like some of her work.

well there were a couple different ones and i made a point to take the contemporary art history class which was a bit of a bitch because it kept filling up. lol, and it didnt hurt that my prof was a hardcore feminist.

I watched something on her when the Miley Cyrus pictures were the hot commodity. Great photographer.
