i have seen paprika, appleseed, and some dbz movies on dvd, also wings of hominies...

only large budget stuff is making it right now, will take a while to trikle down to regular releases.

You can d/l some stuff in 1080p. I have several episodes of Soul Eater in that res. One issue though, you say you have a blu ray player, so I'm assuming you have a PS3. I can't get 1080 files to run on it. I get sound but no picture. It does play fine on my 360 though and looks amazing.

Anyone notice a difference between Blu-Ray and a good 1080p upscaled DVD anyway? I've watched Ergo Proxy, Appleseed DEM, and Diebuster all upscaled and it's pretty amazing looking as is. Especially Diebuster, the colors popped. I want to see them back to back to really how much of a difference there really is.
