I dont know but that was fucking retarded for the last 2 and a half rounds. Thank god I didnt pay for that piece of shit fight, what a disgrace.

I dont know if he was trying to send a message to Dana for not giving him a harder opponent or what but he definitely ripped off everything who paid for the card by dancing around like a chimpanzee for the second half of what is supposed to be a main event/championship fight.

well at least the first half of the fight, Silva did some damage.
Rogan thought Silva got tired and stopped trying.

Anderson felt out Damien for 2 minutes into the 1st round before striking

Am I the only one that doesn't give a fuck that he danced for the last 2 rounds? Give him a worthwhile opponent that he cant clown on for 3 rounds and maybe you'd get a better fight

    No ones fault but Danas

i didnt pay for it though :o

I thought Maia won the last 2 rounds, given that no new damage was done and he was the only one doing anything
So that streak for Silva should be over at least

I think this is the reason Buffer didn't announce the scores.

I don't like any of the post fight interviews with the non english speaking fighters for that very reason. They talk for 30 seconds and you get a "He did his best" out of the translator. I know damn well he said more than that.

I hate the way anderson dances around. It makes him look like an ignorant asshole, especially if you don't finish the fight after doing so.

    Fucking .

Basically his answer to EVERY question was "You know, I came out there and did what I was supposed to do. Some fans will enjoy it some wont. Not everyone's always gonna be pleased".

What the fuck do they get paid for? It sure as fuck isn't ball room dancing. --- This IS entertainment, if I wanted to watch something boring I'd go watch volleyball or tennis.

I don't see why that can't go both way.s You're the challenger you gotta put it all on the line, you're the retaining champ, you gotta put it all on the line. It was full of fail from every direction and if you disagree, you are in the sad sad sack riding Silva minority.

If you are going to act hella cocky in the ring, putting your hands down, thigh punching, etc, after you are done showing how good you are, KNOCK THE DUDE OUT. Dude did the same thing to Forrest, and then KHTFO

Anderson said in a post fight interview, "this is a sport, this is not fight, not real fight. This is a sport".

I think that pretty much explains his psyche. He strikes me as a guy who doesn't like hurting people if he doesn't have to. He went into the fight ready to go but it was obvious Demian couldn't threaten him in any way, and he made it clear that he was the better fighter. So to him, his job was done.

He just didn't see any reason to try to hurt/KO Demian Maia when he had already proven that he was far and away the better fighter, and when he had essentially already won the fight.

It sucks but it's true that he really didn't have anything more to prove, and he IS the best fighter in the world whether you like him or not.

Funny you say that. The way I saw the last few fights of Silva he was kicking at need caps, trying to bend them backwards. Stay classy Anderson.
