I have wheels that are hard ask heck to keep cleaning due to rivets and holes in them...

Eventually im getting new wheels but no amount of polishing is keeping these bitches clean for a while, it keeps them shiney for a few weeks, i scrub the heck out of them when i wash the truck, 2 times a week normally.

I friend of mine uses glass cleaner with high amount of ammonia in it and his wheels haven't been polished in about 2 years... They look brand new! (minus some curb rash :big grin: )

Is ammonia safe to use on wheels? I wanted to ask before i went and did it.

    pics of wheels for referance...

Like about most chimcals ammonia can be harmful is used to strong, try a different polish, don't scrub the heck out of them, let your soap work for you, use a clean quality wash mitt just for cleaning rims and gently clean and your rims will stay clean longer.
