i was just on Natchez website and they had a notice up that as of April 1st, 2006 ammo prices are gonna be going up again across the board. This really sucks because ammo JUST increased by about 20 cents a box!!
I suggest any of you guys that have the means, bulk order your fodder now or forever hold your peace until the increase occurs. I just ordered another case of Blazer 9mm and another G17 mag for good measure (cant have enough hicap mags)

    135 bux shipped

I guess I'll go grab a case of CCI from Academy before they increase prices. They raised it $1 a box recently. $3.86 to $4.86 a box...

Runs well in my guns, shoots accurate for the price, and it's cleaner than WWB... CCI Blazer FTMFW...

I've shot several cases through my xd and I haven't had a single malfunction yet. You have a .40 right?

ditto...i used to swear by WWB but i got sick of my gun looking like it shot 500 rounds when i only shot 100 rounds of that filth.
i use blazer aluminum exclusively...my glocks dont choke on the aluminum cases so i dont need the extra 15 or 20 cents a box for brass....altho im strongly considering reloading in the future...my dad mentioned an interest in learning how to do it...maybe ill just by all the components and ship it all to him with a request sheet on what calibers i want and how much i want him to make :naughty:

My XD40 ate a few boxes of CCI Blazer no problem. Sucks that it was $9 for box of 50 at Academy. WWB is much cheaper.

    $7 for a box of 50 for 9mm Reman ammo :eek3:

Edit: nvm, their bulk prices are good though...

Anyone had any problems with their Reman ammo before? If CCI blazer goes up again, then this stuff will be cheaper.

1000 rounds comes to $169.87 shipped. 1000 rounds of WWB from Walmart would be around $160 or so after taxes.

From what people have posted it seems WWB prices for ammo vary state to state.

I have yet to find cheaper ammo than the CCI Blazer for 9mm at Academy and WWB .40 at Wal-Mart in the 100 round boxes though.

I can't remember how much I pay after tax for a box but it's something like $16. :dunno:

This is what I figure -

    $16 x 10 boxes = $160

Even if it was $17 a box after tax it would still be a good deal at $170. Don't have to wait for it.

For boxes of 100 rounds of 40 it is $15.97 last I purchased it. 10 boxes at 9% sales tax is $174.04 :dunno:

Seen some people say they pay more than that for a box of .40 from wal-mart.

umm since when is $7 a box for 9mm a good deal? go to natchez and if u buy in bulk, u get discounted pricing. if you buy 10 boxes its a about 5.15 a box. if u buy an entire case its 4.99 a box. if you buy less than 10, its like 5.75 a box. for .40 its 7.09/box. 45acp is 7.99 per box

1,000 rounds of bulk 9mm ammo from Lancer is only $105 plus shipping. It's $118.73 shipped to my door, beats the hell out of WWB.

Is this because of a new tax or something?

WWB is $120.20(11.34 x 10 + 6% tax) I'd rather pay the 2 extra dollars to go and pick it up @ walmart
