Hit up 2 walmarts today. First one had 3 boxes of 50 WWB 9mm... bought them up. Hit up a 2nd and they had like 12 boxes of 100 WWB 9mm, so I bought 6. No one has .45. The 2nd place had like 2 boxes of .40.

Rifle is looking good, anything from 22-250 to 30-06 and in between. Shotgun is good.

Where the FUCK is the 45 ACP at? :wtc:

cleaned out of everthing I want, which is 45 ACP.

I bought ONE box (50) of Remington UMC. That was months ago, havent seen any since.

They did have 5 boxes of WWB at the start of the weekend, I just went to see if they had any left. Nothing.

    Fucking weekend plinkers....

It's depressing as shit. I just want to be able to get back to buying 1 or 2 boxes of ammo on payday. Not going and emptying the bank account to add to the 10 of thousands of rounds they are already hoarding.

for a while i was shooting 45 at the gun range and just buying boxes of 50 off them. it was always good brand/good ammo for like $1 more per box anyway :dunno:

Of the 4 Walmarts in my area, only 2 are legally allowed to sell ammo, so that cuts down selection quite a bit already.

Last time I was there (last monday), at about 9 PM the counter had probably 1k of CCI Mini Mag, 500rds .223 UMC (for 9.79 a box), probably ~150rds .357 and a SHITLOAD of 12ga, but I have also not seen this Walmart ever run out of Federal bulk 12ga.

The Milipitas store off McCarthy usually seems to have a good selection. Where do you go?

Closest Walmart to me has no handgun caliber ammo at all and only a few boxes of your general hunting rifle ammo.

This is from the next closest Walmart to me, about 20 mins away.
Quite a bit of .223 and a little 9mm, albeit a heck of a lot more expensive than it used to be. And only one box of .40 and .45 respectively.

    WTF?!? One day a week?

I stop at the same Walmart on my way home from work about 3 or 4 days a week. They receive their truck shipment every day and have it unloaded by 4 or 5pm. They bring a cart or pallet down to the sporting goods area soon after that. It usually doesn't go on the shelves until 7 or 8, but if it's sitting on the cart they will get it out and sell it.

They used to have a shipping list each day that told them what was on that days truck, but apparently some of the employees were telling their friends what was coming in and then holding the ammo until they came in to get it. Now the manager is the only one that gets the list.
