AMD & Intel price cuts this April

    Haven't seen this posted here so minus well.

    Intel: April 20

    Moar Intel:

    Retailers are currently stocking the Q9450s this week.

    Intel E7200 2.53GHz @ $133 (est) will be out by May 11.
    The E7000 series will replace the E4000s.

    The 3.33GHz E8600 @ $266 will kick serious ass by Q3.

    Just ordered E6750 for $180. I knew the second I ordered it prices would drop on something bigger and better. ARGH

    rollin with the e6300...can't believe its still about 160...only dropped 20 from a year ago when i bought it

    The interesting thing about that, is that it just shows how spoiled we become when it comes to computing power.
    That 2500 is still capable of running the majority of what I do on a computer.

    In fact, the only reason I upgraded from my dual MP2600 setup, was that I wanted something a little faster for the video capture card I was using.

    For regular internet stuff and burning the occasional disc, it was perfect.

    Now I'm running a Q6600 at about 1% most of the time.

    No but I wish they would have! It really pisses me off when I see the Q6600s going for $190 though!
