It's a great game - too bad the PC version is crippled by DRM though.

wow, thats pretty impressive on Ubisoft's part..

I remember it took a while for a good HL2 crack to come out. There was a lot of shit early that would work but it was a lot of BS and the HUD was all jacked up and other funny stuff.

I just hope their methods don't become common. Would really suck to have shit like needing an internet connection to play single player stuff become the new standard.

if you havent played the first one, how do you know it sucks.... :hsugh: and its not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. the 2nd one is better for sure, but i still dont get the 1st ones hate other than the cries of repetitive when you in fact dont have to do all the side missions. :dunno:

The first couple hours was good until the wow factor wore off, the last few hours were good because it switched it up a little and was more focused on fighting, the meat of the game was mad repetitive though even if you didn't do the side stuff. Each memory or whatever was the exact same sequence of events over and over and over.

The worst part was I didn't realize it was part one of a trilogy so I forced myself to finish it and boy, was I disappointed. My bad I guess. :o

i enjoyed it. as i said, 2nd one is alot better, but the core gameplay is the same in both games. :dunno: to each their own though.
