A few of my favorites from yesterday's shoot. All are straight out of the camera untouched until he lets me know which 15 of the 300 he wants edited/ touched up.

You've got some pretty nice captures there. My biggest issue is that he has the same expression in every pic.

    Good job though.

    Thanks :h5:

I have maybe 5-10 expressions for each pose, so I'll be curious to see if he likes the same ones I do.

Where's the fabulous jumping pictures? :dunno:

I'm taking some pics of a friends kid tomorrow. did some pics of the kid with her parents last month and the grandparents have been begging them to have me come over and take some pics of her kiddo with them. So, for some dim sum :)yum:) and some free beer, we're going to hang out with them tomorrow and I'll be snapping away. I'll post some tomorrow night. :big grin:

    He's like Sylar meets Marky-Mark.

This looks nice if it were B&W or a little warmer.

I like #7 so I played with it a bit in PS

    original

My take on it. Ehh....I lost too much detail in his hair.

I've got a few, but they are going to need some PP in order to make them pop a bit. :mamoru:

looking forward to seeing your pics - kids are really fun to shoot

Yeah I turned the railrode one B&W and it looks awesome
I'll play with them a bit after he picks his favorites.

yup, the hair is the first thing I noticed. I like the PP, a few areas look a hair blown out/ hot, and his hair needs a mask to bring back in some more detail.

Good work, but I suggest to have him not look at the camera sometimes.

Too much going on here to be taking pics here, unfortunately :o

you need to exercise more border control and be conscious of the backgrounds to your subject

    example:

the corrugated steel sheet backgrounds behind the subject and their seams

these horizontal elements run right through the guy's head or body
