    ...has never worn a support belt before?
    i've been told i'd lift more if i had a belt. :hsugh:
    then i'm being told it's like smoking; if you've never smoke before don't start.

    the reason people advice you not to use a support belt is because the average gym goer straps one on, and thinks his back can support anything.

    it leads to injury when used improperly. used correctly is can help your lifts a ton as well as get you tight in the mid section.

    ive been using one for my heaviest squat and deadlift sets ever since i hurt my back deadlifting without one.

    I only use a belt when I'm deadlifting heavy
