Over the past two months, i've only seen an increase in about 20 pounds in my barbell curl weight, 60-->80, 5X5. This doesn't seem like a lot to me as its only about 5 pounds every two weeks and im afraid I'm overtraining.

My current workout consists of (showing back and biceps workout)

    Tuesday (back)

    Bent Overhand barbell row : 160 5X5
Machine assisted pullups: 5X5 (i can only do about 3 sets of 4-3 non assisted close to lockout)
    Seated Machine row 3X8
Bent over dumbell row 75 5X5

**I do deadlifts on leg day.**

    Wednesday Tri's and Bi's

    Barbell Curl 80 5X5
    Hammer DB Curl 30 4X6
    Incline DB Curls 30 4X6
    Concentration Curls 25 3X8

    CG Bench 155 5X5
    Skulls 70 5X5
    Overhead Extension 55 3X8
    Tricep Pulldowns 3X8

I was thinking of switching on tuesdays to underhand grip which i felt really hit my bi's, and dropping incline DB curls and concnetration curls completley. Thoughts?? :dunno:

2/3 of those exercises aren't for biceps, just showing what I do on my biceps day.

i kind of do the same thing.......

i have an arm day for bis/tris

    for bis i do:
    incline dumbell curls
    preacher curls
    hammer curls

    tris:
    close grip bench
    skull crushers
    pushdowns

    3 sets of each exercise

it seems to be working well for me, i'm seeing progress so i'll stick with it

Not that I'm complaining... it's that my all other body parts, albeit bigger, have increased significantly more. Like bench, has gone from 135-200 in about 2.5 months, i know that biceps don't increase as quickly, i was just expecting a little more of an increase

well you're comparing a compound exercise which uses many muscles to an isolation exercise

Alright... I'll take you're word for it that I'm not overtraining, however i think I'm going to switch things up a little bit, it's been awhile since i've increased weight (about 3 weeks), I'll see how it goes.
