I haven't eaten beef in over a year (since June 2005).

I don't know much about the nutritional value of beef and what it could do for one's diet.

since June 2005, I've lost approximately 45 lbs. (fluxuating in weight). I am in the process of losing more weight and I'm wondering if incorporating beef back into my diet would help me at all :dunno:

Right now the meats I'm eating are just chicken breast, tuna, turkey, and seafood (shrimp/crab)

:hs: I hope this makes sense

    +1

there might be a vitamin or 2 you may only get in beef (though I doubt it), but other than that, I think the other meats make up for everything nutritional

beef is yummy, but I only eat it once in awhile, chicken almost every day almost every meal ftw

and why exactly would Beef be better for "growth" than chicken, unless you talking bout artery blockage when you talking bout "growth"

red meat acts differently, its hard to explain unless you have been sub 5% and dieted. It makes me much fuller as well. Its great when you dont want carbs at night, the fats help retain fullness in them muscle. Once a night is ok for me.

the largest bb'ers on the planet eat beef...go figure. We use chicken to diet. 93% lean beef is hardly bad. You cant be this stupid can you?

I think the amino acid profile in beef is closer to what it's our muscle which might be of some benefit. Plus, there's some vitamin b12 and iron which are good against iron deficiency and anemia (woman and vegetarians and those who are at risk). Plus, there's creatine in it :)

Are you missing anything? You're missing a delicious rare steak coming off the grill and dripping into your mouth. Yummy.
