So I've been cutting for a few weeks now but I've noticed something a little strange. I started @ 196 lbs or so and I've been losing exactly 1 pound a week; however, I'm only eating ~ 2000 calories a day. I just arbitrarily picked this number to see how it went, and I've been making gains/losing weight. However, I realise it's >500 below maintenance for me, so I'm wondering if I'm losing weight but since I'm eating a bunch of high GI carbs still, some of it is insta-storing as fat? I'm pretty much sedintary except for heavy lifting once a day. Any input?
