My daughters DS broke a few months ago at the hands of her 3 year old brother. We are going to get her a new DS for Christmas. My daughter and my wife have both commented on going for the DSi instead. We figured the "i" would allow her to play games against friends over a wifi connection in a similar fashion to the way the Wii does online with friend codes and the sort. Now we have learned that the DSi is actually a web browser. And it is a web browser that does not allow for parental controls. I am not as worried about my daughter surfing the wrong places as much as I am about weirdos out on the net. It also does not allow for playing of GBA games. Are we over reacting to the unrestricted internet?
