for sale is a 2001 dodge ram. color is two tone amber fire/silver.
    119,*** thousand miles
    5.2l v8
auto transmission, never given me a problem. always taken to plano transmission. shifts hard and strong.
    quad cab.
    manual windows.
    full size spare.

aftermarket keyless entry and remote start installed. loud and good to have on cold days.

    aftermarket american racing rims.

new stereo is going in this week.

dash cover is on order and will go with the truck.

bumper is dented, will replace it before it sells.

visually the truck stands out with this color scheme.

the only problem at the momeny is the passenger side door is broken. It was broken into and they broke the lock. Im going to replace the lock and have it in working order before its sold.

I don't think you are far off but still too pricey. I was thinking $3000 when you before I saw your price. I assume when you ask 4K for an older vehicle you expect to get 2700-3400

I'd say that's a reasonable price, but what are comparable trucks going for in your area?

I love that color, but some people might be turned away by it...

$3500-$4500 is what comparable trucks are going for right now.

for current condition ... yes you are asking too much ... when you fix the door (thats the big problem) and the bumper .... then you will be ok on the price.

You are better off just selling it as is and not trying to fix much. The person buying won't end up paying THAT MUCH less but will rather have to deal with it.

250 for a bumper + all necessary equipment.
    60-70 for a passenger lock.
    $$$ for some fresh paint.

ughh fix and sell for 4k? or leave as is and put that money towards my payments and drop my amount owed to 3500+- and sell for that?

Just dump it the way it is. The long run has more costs than that to fix it well enough for the guy not to complain. Just sell it for whatever you can as-is.
