    So beautiful

If I had the money, I'd buy one and do all the upgrades.

super-cool box. once i have more disposable money i might get one and upgrade everything i can. Use it for a music/web/whatever box in the livingroom.

I would take that over any other Windows PC.

I think I am determined to get one. I have (have had for a while) a cube case right now :o

Should I just buy all the parts and the upgraded processor/board? Powerlogix makes a 1.2ghz that I'm eyeing but I dunno if that's more expensive or not than just getting a complete system maybe from the cubeowner forums

I had one briefly......pretty neat set up, sold it though.

the lack of configurability threw me off, but it sure looked cool on the desk.

The design is bad ass except for the fact that there is 0 cooling inside as far as I can remember. No fans, no nothing. What's up with that?

they could get away with it when it was running stock 450mhz.

I'm upping it to at least 1.2 and a fan will be a necessity then :hs:

I agree. The whole design is pretty sweet...but no fans? my god. you couldn't get an upgraded processor without installing a fan or else the whole thing would like explode! (i, think lol)

Yeah installing a fan wouldn't be a big deal for me...there are really cool mods on how people have done it to their cubes...I'd cut my own grille design for it too
    :o

it was convection cooled, which was actually a pretty sweet bit of engineering on Apple's part... but yeah, given the heat dissipation of Motorola's G4s  it probably wouldn't have been possible to go to higher speeds for too much longer.
